COMPETITION DIVISIONS:
Texas Hold’em is a combined women and men event. It is not divided by age category. The event is restricted to the first 40 registered participants.
TOURNAMENT:
There will be one dealer at each table. The actual deal will not pass around the table, though the button will. ONLY the dealer is allowed to make change from the pot. If a dispute arises that the dealer cannot resolve, the Tournament Director will have the final say. The tournament will end at the end of the 10th round. If there is no clear-cut winner, the player with the most chips wins the Gold medal.
If a participant is not seated at the beginning of the tournament the participant will still have a seat at the table with their chips on the table. Their chip stack will post all their blinds until the end of the 2nd round. If, at that time that have not yet arrived, their chips will be removed from the table and they will no longer be in the tournament.
