Competitive Divisions

Air Gun is an individual age category competition which is divided into both men and women divisions.

Tournament:

1. Each participant will complete 20 shots with an air gun for final score.
2. Winners will be determined by total number of points scored on a target.

Format:

1. Participants will shoot an air gun using the standing offhand position.
2. Each participant will shoot from a distance of 33 feet.
3. Twenty consecutive shots will be fired on four targets (five shots on each target).
4. Five warm-up or sight-in shots will be allowed to each participant on a separate target.
5. Each shooter has one minute for each shot.

Scoring:

1. Participants scoring most points, shooting closest to the 10 ring will be declared winners.
2. In the event of a tie, the most shots in the 10 ring will determine the winner.
3. Winners will be awarded and receive in each age category below the gold, silver, and
   bronze medals.

   • 55-59
   • 60-64
   • 65-69
   • 70-74
   • 75-79
   • 80-84
   • 85-89
   • 90-94
   • 95+

EQUIPMENT:

The Golden Games will provide Air Guns with open sight, targets and pellets.

Any circumstances not covered in these rules will be ruled upon by the Event Coordinator.
